Havelok x NLS Klaaswal – Orbital by John Psathas

On Saturday, 16 November you can enjoy the Dutch Premiere of ‘Orbital’ in the De Bongerd gym, by the Klaaswaals Symphonic Wind Orchestra conducted by Niels Verbeek and Arie Stolk in collaboration with the professional percussion ensemble Havelok. There are several beautiful, well-known and sometimes somewhat less well-known compositions on the program around the theme of the universe, the earth and distant destinations.

The highlighter is ‘Orbital’ by John Psathas, a spectacular concert work for orchestra, 4 percussionists, audio track and live electronic effects and “Balinese Gypsies” by Florian Magnus Maier.
